🚀 Quick Start for Attachment Tags

Welcome to VIEW26. Let’s get you started with using the App!

1. Access the App

  1. Log in to Jira

  2. Navigate to the issue with attachments

  3. Click on Manage Labels on the glance page on the right

2. Getting list of Attachments

  1. The Attachments Tag glance page opens up

  2. All files / documents attached to the particular issue gets listed on this page

3. Add new labels to attachments

  1. Click on + Add Label or anywhere on the grey box for the attachment (Here in this example we create a label for the attachment Charts And Reports Video.mp4)

  2. Enter the new Label Name (demo-video in this case)

  3. Select the Colour for the label

  4. Click on Create

4. Add existing labels to attachments

  1. Click on + Add Label or anywhere on the grey box for the attachment (Here in this example we create a label for the attachment Charts And Reports Audio.mp3)

  2. From the list of existing labels select label name to be tagged to this attachment (voice-over, draft, demo-video are existing labels in this case)

  3. Click on Create

5. View Labels added to Attachments

The added labels would be listed under each attachment. You can add more than one label to an attachment

6. Sorting attachments by Uploader or Uploader date

It is possible to sort the attachments by uploader or upload date by choosing the appropriate option from the drop-down

7. Search attachments

  1. Click on Attachment Tags under Apps to Navigate to the Attachment Tags Home Page

  2. All the attachments would be listed with the label information

  3. The attachments tagged to a particular Label / Labels can be filtered out

8. Getting to Settings Page

To edit the Labels at any point, get to the Settings Page by either :

  1. Clicking on Settings icon :setting:on the right top of the Attachment Tags Home Page or

Or

2. Clicking on Settings Icon :setting: on the Attachment Tags glance page

9. Editing Labels in Settings Page

  1. Click on Edit to edit the Label.

  2. It is possible to rename the Label or change the colour of the Label

  3. A Label that is no longer required can be deleted

  4. Can’t find a Label you are looking for? Look it up on top right of the Page
