Managing Datasource(s)

 Dashboard owners can manage datasources from  Settings->Datasources section of view26 Dashboard sidebar.

Adding  a DataSource 

You can add multiple datasources to a Dashboard for reporting across several ServiceDesk projects.

  1. Start in Datasource Page of your Dashboard ( Settings->Datasources)
  2. Click on the "+ Add Datasource" at the top of the page
  3. Choose the desired ServiceDesk project
  4. Click on the "Done" button to confirm addition.
  5. Wait for the data sync process to get completed .

Deleting  a DataSource 

Deleting datasource is as simple as clicking the delete button on the Datasource. 

Configuring  custom fields 

You can add custom fields from Jira ServiceDesk into your Charts, so that you can view and edit these fields directly in the chart filters. 

Configuring  auto-refresh

To configure the auto-refresh option of a Dashboard follow the below steps.

  1. Start in Datasource Page of your Dashboard ( Settings->Datasources)
  2. Click on the "..." more icon at the top of the page
  3. Choose "Enable auto refresh"

Dashboards are auto refreshed daily at approximately 12am UTC. Opt for manual refresh to perform an instant sync of dashboard with all datasources.

Manual  refresh

To configure the auto-refresh option of a Dashboard follow the below steps.

  1. Start in Datasource Page of your Dashboard ( Settings->Datasources)
  2. Click on the "..." more icon at the top of the page
  3. Choose "Refresh Dashboard"
  4. Wait for the data sync process to get completed .
