What each edition of Attachment Manager includes, and who can do what. The edition is the plan your company has for this app: Standard or Advanced. It is not the same as your Jira plan.

In the app, a crown marks the Advanced features. On a Standard site the Folders tab and the REST API settings tab show an upgrade notice instead. A site administrator, the person who manages your Atlassian site, changes the edition in Atlassian Administration (admin.atlassian.com).

The Policies tab shows a coming-soon notice. Policies, which will flag attachments that fall outside rules you set, are not available yet.

Jira's own permissions still apply:

You only see projects you can browse in Jira.

To label a file, you need to be able to edit its work item.

You can only delete files that Jira lets you delete.
Give or remove access
A Jira administrator manages Attachment Manager - Use App under Jira settings (the cog icon) → System → Global permissions. New installations give it to every user. Anyone without it sees No access to Attachment Manager.
